Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Grapple Truck Driver / Operator to join our growing tree service team. This position requires a motivated individual with a strong work ethic, safe driving habits, and experience operating heavy equipment. Candidates must be willing to travel for storm response work when dispatched.
Tree industry experience is preferred, but not required for qualified equipment operators.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate grapple trucks and other heavy equipment
- Transport and haul debris, logs, equipment, and materials
- Assist with storm cleanup and emergency response operations
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Operate additional equipment as needed, including loaders, skid steers, excavators, or other machinery
- Work alongside crews when physical labor is required
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety procedures
- Maintain professionalism with customers and crew members
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Current DOT medical card
- Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record)
- Experience operating heavy equipment
- Ability to safely tow and haul equipment
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Willingness to travel for storm work when dispatched
- Ability to perform physical labor as needed
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
Preferred Qualifications
- Tree service or forestry industry experience
- Experience operating grapple trucks
- Mechanical knowledge is a plus

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
