Holiday Inn & Suites Houston West – Katy Mills is looking for a dependable, professional, and customer-focused Overnight Guest Services Agent (Night Auditor) to join our team.
As the overnight leader of the hotel, you'll play an essential role in ensuring our guests enjoy a safe, comfortable, and memorable stay while preparing the hotel for a successful day ahead. You'll welcome late-night arrivals, assist guests throughout the night, complete the nightly financial audit, and help keep hotel operations running smoothly.

What You'll Do
As our Overnight Guest Services Agent, you'll be responsible for both guest service and overnight hotel operations, including:
- Warmly welcoming late-night arrivals and providing exceptional first impressions
- Checking guests in and out efficiently and accurately
- Assisting guests with questions, requests, and resolving concerns with professionalism
- Answering phone calls, processing reservations, and providing hotel and local area information
- Completing the Night Audit by balancing daily financial transactions and closing the business day
- Posting room charges, taxes, payments, and other accounting entries accurately
- Preparing reports for hotel leadership and the morning staff
- Monitoring the front desk, lobby, and public areas to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment
- Communicating important overnight events to the morning team
- Helping create an outstanding guest experience from arrival through departure
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and genuinely enjoys helping others.
Ideal candidates will have:
- At least one year of customer service experience
- Previous hotel front desk or Night Audit experience preferred (but not required)
- Experience with Opera PMS is a plus—we're happy to train the right candidate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- High school diploma or equivalent
