Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Light Duty tow truck Operator.
Duties
- Operate tow trucks equipped with flatbed or hook-and-chain mechanisms to recover and transport vehicles safely and efficiently
- Conduct automotive diagnostics and basic mechanical assessments to determine the best recovery approach
- Load and unload vehicles using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or specialized lifting tools
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly, managing conflicts professionally, and ensuring client satisfaction during roadside assistance
- Maintain detailed logs of all towing activities, including load details, destinations, and incident reports
- Perform routine inspections and basic automotive repairs to ensure tow truck safety and readiness
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws while driving and performing recovery operations
Qualifications
- Valid Drivers license W/ a clean driving record.
- Light duty recovery/ Towing experience.
- Must be able to work a rotating on call schedule.
- Must have a DOT medical card.
Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
