Due to the high volume of work and wanting to add to our Hot Rods Builder's team, Metal Brothers Hot Rods is currently looking for an Auto Body and Paint Technician. This position requires experience working on Hot Rods. Applicants MUST have prior experience doing bodywork and paint in the automotive industry.
Job Requirements:
· Must have own tools, paint guns, etc.
· Team-oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
· Inspect panels to be painted for body repair, prepping, and/or buffing
· Sand mask, blend, and polish finish to match surrounding areas
· Knowledge of methods, materials, tools, equipment and practices of the auto body repair
· Knowledge of basic methods of mixing hardeners and reducers
· Able to perform high quality repairs, while keeping in mind on-time status
· Ability to file, grind and sand repaired surface, using power tools and hand tools
Qualifications:
· 3 years auto painting experience required.
· Strong communication and interaction skills required.
· Excellent organizational skills required.
· This position will require the technician to view and focus on imperfections both up close and at a distance, as well as identify variances in color.
