About the Role
As a Production Processing Lead, you will oversee the critical stages of seed conditioning, including cleaning, sorting, and treatment, to ensure high-quality agricultural products reach our customers. You will manage equipment flow and provide informal leadership to the floor crew, ensuring operational efficiency and safety across the production line.
Responsibilities-
Operate and monitor complex conditioning tower systems to maintain continuous production flow and minimize downtime.

Drive throughput by optimizing the processing and packaging of seed batches to meet strict output targets.

Maintain rigorous quality control standards by performing thorough equipment cleaning between runs and verifying product specifications.

Provide daily guidance and coordination for the conditioning team to ensure smooth operational execution.

Execute preventative maintenance schedules and perform minor mechanical repairs to ensure equipment reliability.

Uphold a culture of safety by implementing company protocols and proactively identifying process improvements.

Manage accurate production documentation and conditioning records to ensure full traceability.

Operate forklifts and assist in warehouse organization to maintain an efficient, clean, and safe work environment.
Qualifications-
Proven experience in a production, manufacturing, or grain handling environment.

Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain processing machinery.

Demonstrated leadership instincts with the ability to guide team members and solve operational challenges.

Physical capability to lift 30-75 lbs regularly and remain active throughout the shift.

Reliable work history with a strong commitment to attendance and safety.

Prior experience with forklift operation or valid certification.

Background in food manufacturing, feed milling, or similar high-volume packaging industries.

Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) or similar compliance programs.

Experience with seasonal high-volume production cycles.
