Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
- Valid state licensure to practice as an SLP in Texas
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred, but strong clinical fellows will be considered
- Comfortable working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students as assigned
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations
- Develop, update, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate records and progress notes in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Consult with teachers, families, and support staff to develop effective strategies for student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights
- Adapt therapy approaches to meet individual student needs
