EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
This position supports the development and success of the Resource Family Program, helping children remain connected to their communities. As a Resource Family Caseworker, you will perform the following duties: Application Review: Review applications from potential resource families to assess suitability for the programGuided Interviews: Conduct interviews to gather background information and determine readiness for participationCourt Support: Attend court hearings to advocate for and support resource familiesMeeting Participation: Join permanency and transition meetings to help children and families achieve stabilityCommunity Outreach: Prepare reports and presentations to educate the community and promote resource family careWork Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.Work hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday, with a 1-hour lunch. Once a caseworker is trained, normal working hours from 8am to 4:30pm may be flexed to coincide with consumer needs. Caseworkers may be put on a rotation for on-call services which will include nights and weekends.$1,500 sign on bonus available for this position after six (6) months of service.Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.You will receive further communication regarding this position via email.
