Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Prepare ingredients through slicing, dicing, and portioning using proper knife skills and slicing techniques
- Assist in menu planning by preparing specific dishes according to recipes and presentation standards
- Cook a variety of menu items with attention to safety standards in production and food handling procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety management practices
- Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food efficiently and safely
- Follow all safety standards in production to prevent cross-contamination and ensure food safety compliance
- Serve dishes promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or the food industry is highly preferred
- Demonstrated culinary experience with a focus on food preparation and cooking techniques
- Knowledge of dietary department standards and dietary aide experience is a plus
- Familiarity with food safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Strong knife skills, slicing techniques, and meal preparation abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety standards
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and servers
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
