This is a long-term role for a true DIAGNOSTIC / A-LEVEL AUTOMOTIVE TECH
If your idea of diagnosing is clearing codes and throwing parts at a problem, this is not your shop.
If you test, verify, and fix vehicles the right way, you’ll fit right in.
What you’ll handle:
- Electrical and drivability diagnostics
- Engine performance issues
- Network and module diagnostics
- Advanced scan-tool diagnostics
- Solving problem vehicles other shops can’t
- Assisting other techs with complex issues
Pay:
$25+/hr minimum — hourly only
Higher pay based on proven diagnostic skill and consistency.
You get paid for thinking, testing, and fixing it right — not rushing.

- Proven diagnostic experience
- Strong electrical testing ability
- Comfortable with wiring diagrams and data
- Logical troubleshooting process
- Own professional-grade tools
- Works independently and professionally
