Lockwood Motors is expanding and in need of a Automotive Parts Advisor.
Job Summary:
The Automotive Parts Advisor is responsible for assisting customers and service technicians in identifying, sourcing, and purchasing the correct automotive parts and accessories. This role requires strong product knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage inventory efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers (in-person, online, and over the phone) in selecting appropriate automotive parts and accessories
- Provide accurate product information, pricing, and availability
- Work closely with service technicians to ensure timely parts delivery for repairs and maintenance
- Process sales transactions, returns, and special orders
- Maintain and organize inventory, including stocking shelves and monitoring stock levels
- Order parts from suppliers and track shipments
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and warranty issues professionally
- Keep up-to-date with new products, parts catalogs, and automotive technology
- Ensure the parts department is clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Other duties as assigned
Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
