Position Summary:
Working under the supervision of the Buyback Lead, the Public Receiving Spotter performs duties to safely direct commercial and public customers for dumping on the Public (Z-Wall) tip floor.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Greets customers and helps direct them to appropriate areas for proper disposal

Monitor customers while dumping to ensure compliance with company disposal procedures

Responsible for identifying and removing CRT’s and E-Waste, disposing in proper containers, and ensuring that all E-Waste is logged and labeled properly

Responsible for keeping area free of Household Hazardous Waste, and prevent all types of illegal dumping

Responsible for housekeeping on upper and lower areas of Z-Wall, as well as debris found along road to Z-Wall; removing glass and debris by toting a 50-gallon, wheeled bin, sweeping near and around the 50-yard metal containers and curbs

Must adhere to and follow all company safety policies and procedures

Other work-related duties as assigned
Experiences and Competencies:

Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Must maintain a current California Driver’s License

Good verbal communication skills

Experience in the waste management/recycling industry is a plus
