Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in rack refrigeration systems and HVAC repair, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently. This role involves both field service and in-shop work, requiring mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills to ensure optimal performance of refrigeration units.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems and appliances in various settings.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide effective solutions.
- Build, weld, and plumb components as needed for system installations or repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and customer interactions.
- Provide exceptional customer service while representing the company in the field.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairs of HVACR systems with hands-on experience in field service.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to design and implement effective solutions.
- 2+ years experience as a service technician with a focus on refrigeration systems.
- Ability to build, weld, and plumb as required for installations or repairs.
- Understand basic electrical with the ability to read diagrams.
- 23+ years of age with a Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to acquire or have personal hand tools associated with the HVACR craft.
- EPA 608 certification (universal preferred)
- Texas registration or certified technician / or the ability to acquire
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
