Position Overview
Bloomhouse is seeking a dependable and mechanically skilled Part-Time Shop Foreman to support daily operations by maintaining and repairing company equipment, tools, and shop facilities. This role is essential to ensuring equipment safety, reliability, and readiness while keeping the shop organized and functional.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on company equipment, tools, and machinery
- Diagnose mechanical issues and complete repairs efficiently and safely
- Conduct general shop repairs and upkeep to maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Track maintenance needs and communicate equipment status to management
- Maintain inventory of tools, parts, and supplies; request replacements as needed
- Coordinate with outside vendors or service providers for specialized repairs when necessary
- Follow all company safety procedures and applicable regulations
Qualifications
- Prior experience in equipment maintenance, mechanical repair, or shop operations
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Basic knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, or small engine systems preferred
- Ability to perform physical work, including lifting up to 50 lbs
Schedule & Work Environment
- Part-time or full time hours
- Work performed in a shop or warehouse environment with exposure to tools, machinery, noise, and varying temperatures
Compensation
- Hourly pay based on experience
