We’re looking for a Registered Nurse who shares that same passion, someone who finds purpose in connection, compassion, and teamwork, and who wants to make a genuine impact in the lives of children and their families.
What You’ll Do
As a School Nurse, you’ll play a vital role in creating a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment for our students. You’ll be a trusted partner to families and staff, ensuring each child’s medical needs are met with the utmost care and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily nursing care including medication administration, seizure and G-tube management, and emergency response.
- Develop and maintain individualized health care plans and up-to-date medical records.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and families to support each student’s overall well-being.
- Lead staff training on health procedures, infection control, and emergency preparedness.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards and documentation requirements.
What We’re Looking For
- Current New York State RN license (required); BSN preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in pediatric, school, or community health settings
- Experience with children with complex medical needs (a plus, not a must!)
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- A compassionate spirit and a genuine love for helping children
