Daiquiri Deck is seeking a reliable, hands-on Facilities & Maintenance Technician to support the day-to-day operation of our restaurants. This role is critical to keeping our building, equipment, and guest-facing spaces safe, functional, and operating at a high standard. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in fixing things the right way, understands urgency in a restaurant environment, and can work independently while communicating clearly with management.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on restaurant equipment, fixtures, and facilities
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, and general building issues (within scope)
- Respond to maintenance requests quickly to minimize operational downtime
- Conduct regular inspections to identify safety hazards, wear, and needed repairs
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and local building codes
- Support opening/closing readiness and emergency maintenance needs as required
Requirements:
- Prior experience in restaurant, hospitality, or commercial maintenance preferred
- Strong working knowledge of general facility & equipment repairs
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Dependable, self-motivated, and solution-oriented
- Clear communicator who understands urgency and follow-through
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Frequent standing, bending, climbing, and working with tools
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors as needed
