Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated, strategic-minded sales professional who excels at building strong relationships and delivering value to customers. The ideal candidate demonstrates a professional presence, excellent communication skills, and the emotional intelligence to assess situations and adjust their approach effectively.
Experience in the concrete or construction industries is highly preferred, though we also welcome candidates who can quickly learn and adapt to a new field. You should be comfortable engaging with Owners, General Contractors, Project Managers, Superintendents, and Quality Control teams. Above all, you thrive in a culture that values transparency, collaboration, and teamwork.
As Territory Sales Manager, you will help position A-1 Block as the preferred supplier of Ready-Mix and block-related materials throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities
- This role is responsible for making A-1 Block the preferred supplier of Ready-Mix and Block-related materials to the market.
- In this role you will grow revenue with existing customers and identify other market leads and opportunities. You will cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with customers and other industry players.
- You will prepare quotes and submittals.
- You will actively monitor and manage business opportunities, participate in preparation of sales forecasts, and ensure timely communications and reporting.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years sales experience with established track record required.
- Experience in concrete, building materials, or applicable industry experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of the concrete industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Communications, or a business-related field.
- Formal sales training.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Work, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to travel extensively throughout the state of Florida (approximately 95%).

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
