We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our growing team. Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized behavioral interventions based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to children and adolescents with autism and other developmental disabilities.
- Collect, record, and analyze data to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments.
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, toileting, and other self-care skills.
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and team members to develop and update individualized treatment goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and HIPAA-compliant records.
- Support clients during teaching sessions and skill acquisition programs focused on communication, social skills, adaptive behaviors, and independence.
- Participate in team meetings, supervision sessions, and ongoing training opportunities.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required.
- No prior experience as an RBT or Behavior Technician is required, provided the candidate holds a valid RBT certification and meets all applicable requirements.
- Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and behavior management strategies.
- Experience working with children or individuals with autism and developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Ability to assist with activities of daily living and implement behavior intervention plans.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and professional documentation standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, adaptability, professionalism, and a passion for helping individuals achieve their full potential.
