Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, incorporating diverse teaching methods and learning technology tools.
- Deliver engaging instruction in mathematics, adapting approaches to meet the needs of students with varying abilities, including those in special education settings.
- Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to organize coursework, track student progress, and communicate effectively with students and parents.
- Assess student performance through quizzes, tests, and ongoing observations; analyze data to tailor instruction and support individual learning goals.
- Manage classroom behavior and foster a respectful, inclusive environment conducive to active participation and collaboration.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, instructional design, and implementing multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) for diverse learners.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance data, and behavioral incidents in compliance with educational regulations.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of math concepts, curriculum development, lesson planning, and instructional design principles.
- Experience working with students with disabilities or in special education programs; understanding of classroom management techniques is essential.
- Proficiency in using LMS platforms and learning technology tools to enhance instruction and monitor student progress.
- Ability to analyze student performance data for quantitative analysis of academic growth and areas needing improvement.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators.
- Knowledge of educational compliance standards or other specialized teaching methodologies preferred.
- Demonstrated conflict management skills and ability to implement behavior management strategies effectively.
