We are seeking a reliable and professional Medical Courier/Delivery Driver with either 16-20 ft. Box Truck w/ liftgate or Cargo Van/Sprinter Van preferably, to transport prescriptions and pharmaceutical products between pharmacy locations and directly to patients or medical facilities as independent contractors.
Responsibilities:
- Pick up and deliver prescriptions, medications, and medical supplies accurately and on time
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain required signatures
- Handle sensitive materials with confidentiality and care
- Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols
- Communicate professionally with pharmacy staff and patients
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Reliable personal vehicle (16-20 ft. Box Truck w/ liftgate or Cargo Van/Sprinter Van preferably)
- Strong time management and navigation skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Should have commercial insurance $1M General Liability with up to min. $100k cargo coverage and willing to add Daisy Blossom as an additional insured.
- TWIC Card and TSA certified preferred (or willing to obtain within the next 30 days)
Vehicle preferred any of the following:
- Cargo van
- Sprinter van
- Box truck
Note: All vehicles used for medical courier operations must be model year 2015 - 2026.
Certifications
HIPAA and AHA Bloodborne Pathogen (required) must be valid and legitimate by accredited organization. Drivers who do not have the certification must obtain it before the start date. Certification will be reimbursed after 30 days of employment.
Schedule for drivers: Monday–Friday; occasional weekends
Compensation: $17–$25/hr (depending on experience & certifications) + $0.60/mile
