Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect deliveries for quality, quantity, and accuracy
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and tracking systems
- Issue materials and equipment to technicians
- Coordinate material returns and vendor credits
- Conduct truck inventories and warehouse audits
- Ensure all company vehicles are properly stocked and equipped
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
- Reduce technician downtime through efficient material management
- Monitor inventory levels and proactively reorder stock
- Lead, train, coach, and develop warehouse personnel
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Communicate warehouse issues that may impact operations or customer service
- Support leadership with reporting, inventory analysis, and operational planning
QualificationsPreferred
- Associate degree or higher in a related field
- 2+ years of inventory management or warehouse leadership experience
- Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, construction, or related trades
Required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lead and hold team members accountable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and solve problems proactively
- Strong computer skills and inventory management experience
- Customer-service mindset with a team-first attitude
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the warehouse for extended periods
- Ability to bend, reach, climb, and move inventory safely
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work both in office and warehouse environments
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment as required
