- Follow strict food safety protocols and hygiene standards during all stages of food handling and preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment through regular cleaning routines.
- Support the kitchen team by communicating effectively with chefs and other staff to ensure timely meal production.
- Adhere closely to menu plans and recipe instructions to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
- Assist in putting away orders
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or a dietary department is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with food safety management practices and safety standards in production environments.
- Experience working in restaurants, catering services, or food industry settings demonstrates valuable culinary skills.
- Strong knife skills with proper slicing techniques are essential for efficiency and safety.
