Well-Rounded Shop Mechanic
DFR is growing, and we're looking for an experienced, motivated Shop Mechanic to join our team!
If you're someone who enjoys diagnosing problems, repairing equipment correctly the first time, and takes pride in quality workmanship, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair cars / trucks and equipment
- Perform hydraulic system diagnostics and repairs
- Service brakes, steering, suspension, driveline, and engine components
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections
- Troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic issues
- Complete work orders accurately and maintain a clean, organized shop
Qualifications
- Experience working on cars/trucks and heavy equipment
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Hydraulic repair experience preferred
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license required
- CDL is a plus, but not required
