Overview
Chubby Wienerz Pet Care is hiring dependable, professional Weekend Dog Walkers to join our growing team. Weekends are one of our busiest times, and we're looking for team members who understand the importance of reliability, exceptional customer service, and providing outstanding care for our clients' pets.
This is an active, outdoor position that requires responsibility, professionalism, and a genuine love for animals. Our clients trust us with their pets and their homes, and we take that responsibility seriously.
Weekend Schedule
We are currently hiring for the following weekend shifts:
- 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Saturday & Sunday)
- 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM (Saturday & Sunday)
Applicants must have consistent weekend availability for one or both shifts.
Service Areas
Applicants should be willing to work in one or more of the following areas:
- Leesburg
- Sterling
- Ashburn
- South Riding
- Aldie
Duties
- Walk dogs safely using proper leash handling techniques.
- Visit clients' homes for scheduled dog walks and pet care visits.
- Ensure pets receive exercise, fresh water, and individualized attention.
- Clean up pet waste during every walk.
- Follow detailed care instructions for each household.
- Secure clients' homes after each visit.
- Submit visit reports and photos through our pet care software.
- Communicate promptly with management regarding schedule changes or pet concerns.
- Represent Chubby Wienerz Pet Care with professionalism at every visit.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Must own a smartphone with reliable internet service.
- Must be comfortable walking dogs of all breeds, sizes, and energy levels.
- Must be physically able to walk several miles each day.
- Must be willing and able to safely work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and light snow.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Previous pet care or dog walking experience is preferred but not required.
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
Pay: $23.59 - $28.41 per hour
