Tier 1 is seeking a skilled Overnight ICU Veterinary Technician to join our care team. This vital role ensures the continued monitoring and treatment of hospitalized patients during overnight hours. The ideal candidate has strong clinical skills, calm under pressure, and able to work independently when a DVM is not on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide attentive, high-quality care to hospitalized patients throughout the night.
Monitor vital signs, administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments according to care plans.
Accurately document patient status, treatments, and any changes to conditions.
Provide comfort, cleanliness, and basic needs support to patients.
Keep ICU and treatment areas organized, stocked, and cleaned.
Follow all hospital protocols, safety procedures, and standards of care.
Qualifications:
Required-
At least 5 years of experience as a veterinary technician.
Strong ability to work independently.
Competency in care of unstable or critical patients.
Comfortable operating in an environment where a DVM may not be physically present.
Preferred-
Licensed Veterinary Technician
RECOVER CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
