Experienced Kennel Technician

Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of professional kennel experience.
- Experience safely handling and caring for 10–15 or more dogs simultaneously in a kennel, daycare, boarding, or veterinary setting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, physically active, and capable of standing, walking, lifting, and bending throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and animal safety.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary facility by vacuuming, mopping, disinfecting, and sanitizing kennels, play yards, and kennel equipment.
- Wash and sanitize food and water bowls, bedding, toys, and play equipment.
- Bathe dogs as needed while ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Walk dogs throughout the day and provide regular potty breaks and exercise.
- Monitor each dog's health, behavior, and well-being, reporting any concerns to management.
- Administer medications according to instructions when required.
- Feed dogs according to individual care instructions.
- Handle dogs safely using proper restraint techniques and maintain a calm, positive environment.
- Treat every pet with kindness, patience, respect, and compassion.
- Work collaboratively with fellow team members to ensure exceptional care and outstanding customer service.
