Duties
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities tailored to client needs
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and identify areas of concern
- Educate clients on post-treatment care, pain management strategies, and overall wellness practices
- Maintain detailed records of treatments, client progress, and treatment plans in compliance with health regulations
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to sanitation standards and clinic protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support comprehensive patient care and occupational health initiatives
- Provide exceptional customer service by listening attentively to client concerns and customizing sessions accordingly
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification in good standing
- Proven experience in patient service, with a focus on patient assessment and personalized care
- Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage
- Prior experience working in a med spa or similar healthcare setting is highly desirable
