Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Kitchen Designer to join our innovative team! Duties
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget for kitchen renovations and remodeling projects
- Create detailed layout designs using 20/20, SketchUp, CAD, and other design software to visualize custom kitchen solutions
- Conduct product demos and present design proposals to clients, emphasizing features such as lighting options and innovative storage solutions
- Negotiate project scope, pricing, and timelines to secure high-end sales while upselling premium features and accessories
- Coordinate with contractors and suppliers during construction and installation phases to ensure quality standards are met
- Manage customer accounts through effective account management practices, maintaining strong relationships for future business opportunities
- Assist with merchandising efforts by showcasing kitchen products and accessories in retail settings to attract customers
- Handle POS transactions, cash handling, and retail math accurately during sales processes
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the remodeling journey
- Maintain organized records of projects, sales activities, and inventory stock levels for smooth operations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in interior design or kitchen layout design using SketchUp, CAD or similar software
- Strong background in renovation, remodeling, construction or lighting design projects
- Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on high-end sales and upselling techniques
- Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse client bases effectively
- Knowledge of retail sales processes including POS systems, merchandising, and product demos
- Exceptional communication skills to clearly articulate design ideas and project details to clients and team members
- Organizational skills necessary for managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements, pricing calculations, and retail math applications
- Familiarity with marketing strategies to promote services and products effectively

Pay: $58,124.27 - $69,999.12 per year
