What you’ll do
- Operate CNC milling machines and lathes under supervision, ensuring high-quality production standards are met.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Participate in quality control processes, inspecting finished products for accuracy and compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with experienced machinists to troubleshoot issues and optimize machining processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Engage in continuous learning about manufacturing techniques, tooling, and mechanical knowledge.
Basic qualifications
- A strong interest in manufacturing and machining processes.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Familiarity with hand tools and assembly line operations is a plus.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience or coursework in CNC programming or operation is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Fanuc systems or programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus.
- Previous factory or warehouse experience will be considered an asset.
