What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Supporting the Lead Teacher in creating a warm, safe, and engaging classroom environment
- Assisting with the implementation of the Frog Street curriculum through daily activities, play, and routines
- Helping maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom
- Building positive relationships with children, families, and fellow team members
- Supervising children and ensuring their safety, well-being, and individual needs are met throughout the day
- Assisting with classroom transitions, meals, diapering or toileting, nap time, and daily routines as appropriate for the age group
- Encouraging children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through positive interactions
- Working collaboratively with the teaching team to provide a consistent, high-quality learning environment
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with infants through Pre-K in a licensed childcare or preschool setting is preferred
- A genuine love for working with young children
- Someone dependable, positive, and eager to learn
- A team player who communicates well with both families and coworkers
- Someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and organized classroom
- A positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed to support the team
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Knowledge of childcare licensing requirements and child safety standards is preferred
- Ability to lift, bend, sit on the floor, and actively engage with young children throughout the day
