Heirloom Restaurant at The Hotel Monroe, a Tapestry Collection by Hilton, is seeking a personable, professional Host / Hostess to be the first and last impression for our guests.
As a member of our restaurant team, you'll help create an exceptional dining experience by warmly welcoming guests, managing reservations and seating, and providing attentive service from the moment guests arrive until they leave.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Host / Hostess, you'll play a key role in creating a warm, organized, and welcoming restaurant environment while supporting the service team and restaurant management.
Guest Experience
· Greet and welcome all guests promptly with a friendly, professional demeanor.
· Whenever possible, greet returning and regular guests by name.
· Create a positive first impression that sets the tone for the guest's dining experience.
· Engage guests in genuine, courteous conversation while remaining attentive to special requests and needs.
· Assist guests with questions and provide information about the restaurant, menu, and dining experience.
· Help resolve guest concerns professionally and diplomatically.
Reservations & Seating
· Manage restaurant reservations and ensure reservation details are accurate and complete.
· Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally.
· Provide accurate information and respond effectively to guest questions.
· Seat guests efficiently while maintaining appropriate table turn times and maximizing seating capacity.
· Monitor the flow of guests and coordinate seating with the restaurant service team.
· Manage larger crowds and waiting guests in a professional and organized manner.
Restaurant Operations
· Communicate effectively with servers, managers, and other restaurant team members.
· Assist restaurant management and the service team as needed to ensure an outstanding dining experience.
· Maintain a clean, neat, and organized host stand and surrounding areas.
· Complete opening, running, and closing side work.
· Ensure the host stand and service areas are properly stocked and prepared for the next shift.
· Follow all hotel and restaurant policies, procedures, and service standards.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required Qualifications
· Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with a professional, welcoming demeanor.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and remain calm in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
· Previous host/hostess or restaurant experience with familiarity using restaurant reservation or POS systems.
· Fine dining or upscale restaurant experience and knowledge of food and beverage service preferred.
· Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
· Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check.
· Must be authorized to work in the United States.
