POSITION SUMMARY:
The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for managing the installation of landscapes and hardscapes on new construction projects within our Commercial and Residential development segment. The PM will be the primary contact for clients on-site, from creation through completion of job. Communicate on-going work progress with internal partners and oversee installation crew(s). The PM will be responsible for managing projects from inception to completion and ensuring projects are on time, in budget, and meet client expectations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create solid project plans to move project from point of sale to successful completion.
- Manage project crew(s) and direct processes and resources, including directing the work of installers.
- Review and interpret drawings to determine sequences of construction and coordinate material deliveries.
· Review overall project schedules to determine manpower and material delivery requirements.
· Create task duration schedules based on customer / project requirements.
· Point of contact for client and proactive ongoing project communication.
· Prepare and send submittals. Review submittal responses. Records management.
· Coordinate all aspects of production, planning and execution of project while ensuring quality and value.
· High level of communications with internal and external partners.
· Successfully execute project at or below budget.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience in commercial landscape or commercial construction or similar experience.
- Pro core (software) experience a plus.
- Effective communication skills to engage at all levels: client/customer, team members, and outside resources and services, required.
- High level of detail and organization with ability to manage the customized detail of multiple projects.
- Adaptable with flexibility to manage change and redirect when necessary.
- Strong interpersonal skills, customer service oriented and results driven.
- Experience with technology (e.g. Microsoft Office and other business management systems).
- Bilingual skills a plus.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT:
· Must be able to sit/stand for 8 hours
· Walking, bending, light lifting up to 50 lbs.
· Work in both field and office environment
Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
