Overview:
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Resort Staff at our new upscale pet resort with day boarding and overnight stays. If you have a passion for animals, enjoy providing exceptional care, and work well with a team this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive care to pets staying at the resort
- Assist with feeding, walking, and caring for animals
- Monitor play time and assess any animal needs
- Monitor pets for any signs of distress or health issues
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene within the facility and surrounding grounds
- Interact with pet owners and provide updates on their pets
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures for animal handling
Qualifications:
- Experience in pet sitting, animal care, or related field is preferred
- Knowledge of basic animal care techniques and behaviors
- Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners effectively
- Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately
- Certification or training in veterinary care or animal handling is a plus
- Comfortable with tasks such as administering medications
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude towards animals
