We are seeking a full-time Goldsmith to join our team at Hutcherson Goldsmithing. We specialize in custom fine jewelry and complete every stage of the process in-house, from design, casting, and fabrication to finishing and repair.
We are looking for a well-rounded, highly skilled goldsmith with experience working in gold, platinum, and silver to work alongside our team of designers, CAD designers, and master goldsmith. The ideal candidate is confident in all aspects of bench work, enjoys tackling unique challenges, and takes pride in producing exceptional craftsmanship.
Responsibilities include:
- Fabricating and assembling custom jewelry
- Stone setting
- Ring sizing, repairs, and restorations
- Soldering and laser welding
- Polishing and finishing to a high standard
- Working closely with designers and fellow goldsmith to bring custom pieces to life
- Troubleshooting technical challenges and developing creative solutions throughout the fabrication and repair process
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of professional bench experience
- Proficiency working with gold, platinum, and silver
- Strong fabrication, soldering, and finishing skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the confidence to think critically when faced with complex repairs or one-of-a-kind custom projects
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
