Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Store Shopper to join our team at a grocery store. The ideal candidate will have experience in retail, customer service, and possess strong organizational skills.
Duties
- Utilize Point of Sale (POS) systems for transactions
- Apply retail math skills for accurate pricing and discounts
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when interacting with customers
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with inquiries and product location
- Perform sales transactions using a cash register
- Supervise stock levels and ensure shelves are adequately replenished
- Handle cash transactions securely and accurately
Requirements
- Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred
- Proficiency in POS systems and cash handling
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to address customer needs effectively
- Knowledge of supervising stock levels and maintaining inventory
- Familiarity with retail math principles is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.25 - $20.73 per hour
