We are a busy, active couple based in Safety Harbor, FL, balancing two demanding careers, frequent work travel, and a very full day-to-day schedule. With both of us working full-time, we are ready for a trusted extra set of hands who can help keep life at home organized, maintained, and moving forward.
We are looking for more than just organization or light upkeep support—there are plenty of moving pieces that need hands-on, proactive attention in between our bi-weekly cleaners. After frequent travel, we come home to suitcases that need unpacking, several loads of laundry, groceries that need to be ordered and put away, food that needs prepping, and other household tasks that have accumulated while we've been gone. We are looking for someone who enjoys stepping into that environment, taking stock of what needs to happen, and getting things back on track.
We also have a one-year-old pup who is very much part of the family, so someone who genuinely enjoys dogs will feel right at home here. We're fortunate to have family nearby, and occasionally their dog joins our household as well. From time to time, there may also be a small extra ask to help them out—such as adding a few items to a grocery order and setting them aside for pickup.
More than anything, we are looking for someone who can become a trusted right hand in our lives. We are naturally hands-off and don't want to create a long to-do list every time you arrive. We would love someone who learns our routines, anticipates what is coming, and confidently takes ownership. In fact, we need someone who is comfortable managing us a little too—keeping an eye on the calendar, offering reminders, following up, and making sure important household and personal tasks don't fall through the cracks.
You are proactive, capable, and naturally hands-on. You are the kind of person who can walk into a home, quickly assess what needs attention, and get moving without waiting for detailed instructions. You bring the organization and follow-through of a great Personal Assistant while also being completely comfortable rolling up your sleeves and tackling the practical, everyday needs of a home.
Calendar management will be an important part of this role. You are comfortable keeping track of appointments, household maintenance, upcoming travel, vendors, deadlines, and other moving pieces—and you're not afraid to send a friendly reminder or gentle nudge when something needs our attention. With a very busy lifestyle, you understand that following up isn't overstepping; it's part of being an excellent right hand.
You are independent and solutions-oriented. If something comes up, your instinct is to think, 'How can I handle this?' rather than waiting for directions on how to solve it. You are resilient, resourceful, and comfortable making reasonable decisions on our behalf.
You can prioritize, pivot, and keep things moving without getting stuck in the small details. Whether you're resetting the house, coordinating a repair, prepping food, running errands, or noticing something that could make our lives easier, you take initiative and follow through.
You are someone who brings ideas to the table. If you see a better system, a helpful solution, or a way to make our week run more smoothly, we want to hear it. We are looking for a dependable partner who takes pride in getting things done and genuinely enjoys making a busy household feel easier, lighter, and more organized.
