The Office of the City Engineer's Environmental Services Section is seeking to fill the role of Environmental Quality Specialist who will ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations for city-wide operations. The Environmental Quality Specialist will interact with City department clients, regulatory and compliance agencies, manage consultants and contractors and communicate requirements for City projects.
Responsibilities include and are not limited to:

Overseeing professional service and job order contracts.

Reviewing estimates and reports.

Conducting reviews of in-field project work.

Conducting reviews of technical reports and laboratory results.

Interpretating rules, policies and compliance reviews.

Providing consultation processes relevant to projects with federal funding, permitting, and approvals.

Managing and coordinating environmental, technical, and regulatory work with other City departments, regulatory agencies, and other entities.
