Job Title: Substitute Teacher for Brook Valley Schools
Job Code: 7151
Number of Days Worked: Varies based on the needs of Brook Valley School. There are no guarantees that the employee will be called to work.

Immediate Supervisor: Brook Valley Principal

Essential Requirements:

No history of child abuse or negligence.

Must hold a valid Nebraska teaching certificate and placed on file in the ESU #3 Business Services Department by the Substitute Teacher.

Ability to instruct and manage students.

Ability to work with parents and staff.

Ability to be an effective communicator with organizational and interpersonal skills.

Possess flexibility in job assignments.

Must be punctual and dependable.

Must display a professional attitude.

Successfully pass required background checks.

Essential Responsibilities:

Understand and comply with the ESU #3 Board of Education Personnel Policies and Employee Handbook.

Understand and comply with the Brook Valley’s Handbook.

Other duties as assigned.
