Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit
- Manage retail sales by processing cash and card transactions accurately using POS systems
- Assist with equipment rentals, sales, and inventory management to ensure availability and organization
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve conflicts professionally, and maintain a positive atmosphere
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during outdoor work and manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of equipment or supplies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the golf shop area, including stock replenishment and display setup
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service roles preferred
- Strong communication skills with public speaking ability to engage guests effectively
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and outdoor work conditions
- Knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures for processing transactions accurately
- Experience in event venue management or hospitality is a plus
- Familiarity with safety protocols such as first aid and CPR certification is desirable
- Experience working with children or in food service environments enhances your ability to connect with diverse guests
- Skills in conflict management, public speaking, and theater experience can contribute to creating an engaging environment
