Axia Care Center is seeking experienced Ventilator Nurses (RN/to join our high-acuity clinical team. This role is mission-critical to delivering safe, compliant, and patient-centered care to ventilator-dependent residents in a fast-paced subacute setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to ventilator-dependent residents in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
- Monitor ventilator settings, respiratory status, and patient responses
- Perform trach care, suctioning, and related respiratory interventions
- Collaborate closely with respiratory therapy, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Respond effectively to changes in patient condition and emergencies
Qualifications
- Current RN or license (New Jersey)
- Ventilator experience required (subacute, LTACH, or skilled nursing preferred)
- Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while supporting team-based care
- Commitment to quality outcomes, compliance, and professionalism
