We are seeking a Substitute Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to provide occasional coverage across our residential substance use treatment, ambulatory detoxification, and Office-Based Opioid Treatment (OBOT) programs. This PRN position is ideal for providers seeking supplemental income, a moonlighting opportunity, or a flexible role to compliment your current position.
Whether you currently practice in primary care, family medicine, emergency medicine, internal medicine, or addiction medicine, this position offers the opportunity to support patients in recovery without the demands of a full-time schedule or ongoing patient panel management.
This role offers a combination of in-person and telehealth services based on program needs and provider availability.
Job Purpose
Provide medical assessment, withdrawal management, medication management, and substance use disorder treatment services for individuals receiving care in residential treatment, ambulatory detoxification, and Office-Based Opioid Treatment (OBOT) programs. This flexible, as-needed position supports clinic operations through in-person and telehealth coverage based on provider availability and program needs. The role focuses on addiction medicine and the medical management of substance use disorders. Psychiatric and specialty mental health services are provided through the organization's behavioral health network and are not a responsibility of this position.
Qualifications
Minimum Education: Master’s Degree
Defined Education: Nursing
License/Certifications: Licensed RN in State of Texas w/recognition as a Psychiatric MH Nurse Practitioner or Clinical Nurse w/limited prescriptive authority by BNE; Valid Texas Driver’s License; Valid Texas Driver’s License
