AWAKE & AWARE IS A FULLY ADHEARANT DBT PROGRAM FOR ADULTS, ADOLESCENTS & FAMILIES
DBT Clinician Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of a full-time caseload (22-25 clients/week)
- Use of Diary Cards with each client
- Delivery of DBT Skills groups (2 hour groups, cofacilitated)
- Each clinician is asked to facilitate at least 2 groups weekly (typically 8 to 12 members/group)
- DBT Phone Coaching availability (This is part of DBT protocol and is 7 days/week availability to support clients with skills coaching)
- Participation on DBT Consultation team (Meets every week for 2 hours)
- Audio recording of all sessions (with client consent)
- Treatment planning/all clinical documentation

Awake and Aware, LLC is excited to add team members to our adult and adolescent DBT program. We are currently seeking independently and non-independently licensed counselors and clinical social workers. We are a fully comprehensive and adherent program seeking clinicians that have interest, experience and/or training in DBT.
We provide thorough training with DBT Linehan certified clinicians on site, and support clinicians becoming DBT certified via the Linehan Board of Certification. There is great opportunity for growth, including potential supervisory opportunities available to the right independently licensed candidate. We are committed to ongoing advancement from within.
Clinical requirements/Qualifications:
- A Masters Degree from an accredited institution and valid NM licensure (LMHC, LMSW, LCSW, LISW, LPCC, LMFT)
- A minimum of 2 years in provision of clinical services to adults and families.
- Clinical interest in trauma treatment, suicidality/self injury, mood disorders and emotion dysregulation.
- Interest/passion in becoming intensively trained in DBT and DBT Certified via the Linehan Board of Certification.
