Job Overview
We are seeking a Part-Time Physical Therapy Aide who is dedicated and compassionate to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will support licensed physical therapists by assisting with patient care, preparing and cleaning treatment areas, scheduling appointments and any other various activities to ensure smooth clinic operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in outpatient rehabilitation settings.
Hours
Mon - Thurs: 8am - 1pm
Responsibilities
- Assist Physical Therapists with patient intake, setup, and post-treatment cleanup
- Support patient care activities such as positioning, transfers, and exercises under supervision
- Prepare treatment areas with necessary equipment and supplies for therapy sessions
- Monitor patient comfort and safety during therapy sessions
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of therapy spaces in compliance with health standards
- Support administrative tasks including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
- Provide excellent patient service by addressing questions and ensuring a welcoming environment
Qualifications
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and acute care practices beneficial
- Experience working with diverse populations such as geriatrics or orthopedic patients is a plus
- Strong patient service skills with a caring and professional demeanor
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work collaboratively within a healthcare team
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
