Duties
- Operate heavy machinery including vac trucks, bin whips, and skid steers to perform excavation work on construction site silos
- Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment such as vac trucks and hydraulic power units to ensure optimal performance
- Follow federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures at all times to maintain a safe work environment
- Perform construction site preparation tasks, including site cleanup, adhering to project specifications
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and performing basic maintenance on machinery
- Knowledge of federal construction safety regulations and safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation
- Valid commercial truck driving license with experience in commercial driving preferred but not needed
- Excellent understanding of construction site safety protocols and equipment maintenance practices
- No experience needed will train candidates 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts availalble
