Hastings Brothers Construction Inc. is a premier framing subcontractor servicing award winning builders of legacy residential properties around Colorado. We are looking for a skilled carpenter with EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE IN CUSTOM RESIDENTIAL FRAMING. We are looking to only hire a small number of QUALIFIED individuals in the coming weeks/months. We value skill set, reliability, and work ethics and are looking to find those who truly take pride in what they do. As far as tools are concerned, we do require that you supply your own hand tools. Owning your own Skilsaw and nail gun is preferred, and will in time be required, but not a condition of hire. Due to the nature of the work, we do demand you have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle to be considered. Duties
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install framing components using hand tools, power tools, and schematics to ensure accurate construction of walls, floors, roofs, and other structural elements
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to interpret project requirements accurately
- Operate heavy equipment safely for site preparation or material handling as needed
- Assist steel division in placement of steel structural elements as needed
- Collaborate with construction management teams to ensure adherence to safety standards and project timelines
- Extensive experience in custom residential construction with a strong background in carpentry and framing techniques
- Proficiency in cutting roof rafters and building stick framed roof systems
- Skilled in the use of hand tools (e.g., saws, hammers), power tools (e.g., drills, nail guns), and heavy equipment operation for efficient workflow
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately for precise execution of tasks
- Strong understanding of construction management principles including safety protocols and project coordination
- Capable of heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during demanding tasks
- Versatility in working on remodeling projects or restoration efforts including select demolition as needed

Pay: $26.80 - $32.28 per hour
