Duties
- Operate laundry machines and equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care
- Sort laundry items based on fabric type, color, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results
- Perform dry cleaning processes for delicate or specialized garments following established procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by regularly cleaning machines, work surfaces, and storage spaces
- Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying supervisors when stock levels are low
- Follow safety protocols during all laundry operations to prevent accidents or damage to clothing items
- Support general cleaning duties around the facility to uphold high standards of hygiene and orderliness
Requirements
- Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is highly preferred
- Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning processes
- Strong attention to detail to ensure quality standards are consistently met
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and enthusiasm
