Position Overview
Foundational Futures ABA is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to a 3-year-old child. We are looking for an RBT who has experience working with young children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and who is passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families.
The hours would be between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. The exact schedule will be determined based on the family's availability and the therapist's schedule.
Responsibilities
Implement evidence-based behavior intervention strategies under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Provide one-on-one ABA therapy while following individualized treatment plans.
Ensure client safety while maintaining professionalism and a positive therapeutic environment.
Collect accurate behavioral data and document client progress using a data collection software.
Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations.
Support clients in developing communication, social, play, adaptive living, and daily living skills.
Implement behavior reduction and skill acquisition programs with treatment fidelity.
Respond appropriately to behavioral crises using evidence-based de-escalation and crisis intervention techniques.
Collaborate effectively with the supervising BCBA, caregivers, and other professionals involved in the client's care.
Communicate professionally with families regarding session updates while maintaining clinical boundaries.
Attend supervision meetings and complete required documentation in a timely manner.
Qualifications Required
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification in good standing with the BACB.
- Experience providing ABA therapy to young children (preferred ages 2–6 years).
- Experience working with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other developmental disabilities.
- Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and behavior intervention strategies.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of automobile insurance.
- Ability to pass all required background screenings.
- Ability to use electronic data collection
Preferred
-Credentialed with Medicaid and TRICARE/Humana Military
Current First Aid and CPR Certification.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
