The Interventional Radiology Tech at WESTLAKE SURGICAL L P is responsible for assisting in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the interventional radiology department. This role is crucial in ensuring high-quality patient care by preparing and operating imaging equipment, maintaining patient safety, and supporting the radiology team throughout various procedures.
Required Education:
- Completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
- Certification in Interventional Radiology is preferred.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Proven experience in interventional radiology procedures.
- Experience in a surgical or hospital setting is advantageous.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient in operating radiologic equipment and performing diagnostic imaging procedures.
- Strong understanding of interventional radiology techniques and protocols.
