Gateway Imprints is a community-minded custom apparel, signage, and promotional products shop in Lebanon, OR. Since 2009, our team has produced screen printing, embroidery, vinyl graphics, heat transfers, engraving, and digital printing for local businesses, schools, events, and nonprofits. We’re seeking a Production & Print Specialist to join our fast-paced production team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on creative work, apparel decoration, and operating a variety of print production equipment. Experience is helpful, but we also provide training for motivated individuals who want to grow in the print industry.
What You’ll Do
- Produce custom t-shirts, apparel, signs, decals, banners, and promotional products
- Operate and cross-train on multiple production machines, including:
- DTF printer / DTF transfers
- DTG printer
- Screen printing press (manual)
- Vinyl cutter & plotter
- Heat press
- Wide-format vinyl printer
- Digital paper printing & finishing equipment (folder, cutter, laminator)
- Laser engraver (CO₂ & fiber) and rotary engraver
- Perform weeding, trimming, masking, and alignment of vinyl graphics
- Prep artwork, measure placements, and ensure accurate color matching
- Review work orders and follow detailed production specifications
- Maintain high standards of quality control on all orders
- Load/unload garments, substrates, and materials from printers and presses
- Troubleshoot minor issues and perform routine machine maintenance
- Work efficiently across multiple jobs, machines, and deadlines
- Keep the production area clean, organized, and safe
- Occasionally assist with on-site installation of window graphics or decals
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in apparel printing, vinyl application, sign production, or print shop work is helpful
- Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
- Ability to read measurements, align graphics, and follow instructions
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software (graphics programs a plus)
- Ability to multitask in a deadline-driven production environment
- Reliable, positive, and able to work well on a team
- Interest in learning new skills and cross-training (we’ll teach you!)
Physical Requirements
- Able to stand, walk, lift, and move materials throughout the day
- Lift/move up to 50 lbs as needed
- Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive tasks
- Accurate color vision and good detail awareness
Pay, Schedule & Benefits
- Starting pay: $18–$20/hr DOE
- Full-time preferred; part-time considered
- 8- or 10-hour shifts; flexible start between 8–9 AM
