Westgroup Designs is growing to meet the needs of our clients and have several fantastic roles for
JOB CAPTAINS (all levels); PROJECT ARCHITECTS and PROJECT MANAGERS to work on projects in a variety of sectors, including commercial, civic, education, healthcare, multi-family, mixed use and others!

Team members most often work on projects from start to finish —from the conceptual and planning phases through construction administration, which provides opportunities for growth, learning and leadership.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
To lead construction document preparation in collaboration with the Project Manager.
Coordinate documents from internal staff, consultants, and contractors.
Handle construction administration tasks, including shop drawing and submittal reviews.
Document code review and compliance.
Possess knowledge of industry standards, construction methods, and building systems.
Utilize Revit with high technical proficiency.
Perform quality control checks on design and construction documents.
Lead and mentor a team of architectural designers and drafters.
Stay updated on trends, technologies, and best practices through professional development.
WHO WE LOOKING FOR
3+ years of architectural experience (Job Captain)
7+ years of architectural experience (Sr. Job Captain)
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture
California Architectural License for PA and PM
Proficiency in Revit, with proven work experience in an architectural environment
Effective communicator and a Team player
LEED and/or WELL accreditations are a plus
Experience with DSA and/or OSHPD/HCAI are a plus

Pay: $74,925.58 - $120,000.00 per year
