Overview
Join our team at Pawn Max as a Sales Loan Associate, where your enthusiasm and customer-focused approach will drive success in a fast-paced retail environment. In this role, you will assist customers with not only with sales but with collateral loans. Your communication skills will help customers feel confident and valued as they explore our inventory out for sale and our loan service.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and identify their needs related to a loan or a purchase
- Process loans and or loan payments accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems and ensure all documentation and information is complete, explain loan terms
- Maintain a clean, organized retail space by merchandising displays, stocking shelves, and ensuring product availability
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or follow-up calls from or to customers
- Assist with cash handling, cashiering duties, and basic retail math to ensure accurate transactions
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain simply and effectively
- minor computer literacy, able to type and navigate a computer confidently without assistance
- Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer bases but are not required
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, is always a plus
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for engaging with customers confidently
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for transactions and product pricing
- Able to lift 20 to 50 pounds on occasion
- Demonstrated ability to upsell products while maintaining a customer-first approach
